Over 100,000 soup servings left our plant this week for the Philippines.  Typhoons and earthquakes are common in the Philippines.  They were mostly recently hit by Super Typhoon Mawar.  The country also struggles with high unemployment numbers and a high inflation rate.  The food we send will be distributed to tribal children in remote villages, in shanty towns and in the mountains and for those whose homes were destroyed by the recent devastation.
