Verse of the week: Jeremiah 17:7-8

The verse that was shared in the plant this week was Jeremiah 17:7-8. In this verse, we notice two things: firstly, the heat and the drought still come. We live in a sin-cursed world and trusting in the Lord does not mean that He takes away all of our troubles. But the second thing is that the tree's trust in not in its own strength and abilities, but trusts and puts his confidence in the Lord. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord. May that be us! Amen.
